An embedding solution for large tissues
Tissue-Tek Embedding Rings are precision-molded to allow proper and secure positioning of tissue samples in base molds. The Embedding Rings are chemical resistant to hold up against common tissue processing reagents. The etched marking surface allows for the application and display of sample identification throughout the process. Embedding Rings come in five (5) different colors to provide easy visual identification.
Tissues are placed into one of the Tissue-Tek Base Molds for Embedding Rings, the Embedding Ring is placed into position, and the mold is filled with the embedding medium. Once cooled, the embedding ring holds the tissue securely in the microtome chuck adapter to allow proper sectioning of the tissue.
